Responsibilities
Work closely with our director on special in-house and client projects
Complete maintenance, quality assurance, and technical trouble-shooting tasks for projects
Experience
1-2+ years experience with mobile application architecture, frameworks and development methodologies with solid programming abilities in one or more of the following: Java/J2ME, Objective C/Cocoa framework, iPhone/iPad SDK or Android application development
2-3+ years’ experience as a software design engineer through all phases of the software development lifecycles
2+ years of strong development experience with UI design, Java/J2EE, Database (MySQL, Oracle), HTML5, and Web technologies
Excellent understanding of best practices in programming, design patterns, OOP and computer science research
Ability to take creative and technical direction and develop concepts based on those directions
Experience with quality control and usability
Experience providing prototypes / proof-of-concepts to the business (content) owners and users
Proven ability to function well in a team environment
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong customer service orientation
Must be proactive, self-directed, self-motivated, detailed, quick learner and organized
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Experience with PHP/MySQL and Adobe Flash is a plus
