Overview
Ideametrics is a tech startup. Founder and Managing Director is an IITian with 7 years of experience. We are working on a web-based product based on a novel recruiting platform, for which we require a self-motivated and talented web developer. It is an exciting opportunity for motivated candidate who is looking or a meaningful and challenging career. Company culture is very open, dynamic and conducive to learning and experimentation. Work hours are flexible. Right candidate will be expected to own up to the company and responsibilities. In time, right candidate will be offered stock and full-time developer opportunity and see themself heading the Prduct development division.

Job will be based in Katraj, Pune. We prefer candidates who are located nearby and permanent residents, though this condition can be relaxed for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
1. Be part of an innovative and research oriented development enviornment to build the core engine
2. Develop and own core modules of the engine from concept to deployment
3. Recommend technology and design innovations to the product
4. Recommend future and innovative updates to the product
5. Be hands on in all development activities like design, coding, unit test and test
6. Research and adopt open source and off the shelf technologies to meet feature function requirements
7. Be extremely comfortable in coding in technologies PHP, jQuery, AJAX, MySQL and related technologies
8. Build various object oriented architectural layers like presentation layer, data layer, business process layer, data access layer, etc
9. Some prior modelling experience a plus.

Working with Web based API's especially LinkedIN API's
Coding own API's for our product
Interfacing various technologies that operate seamlessly.
Web based Technologies like PHP (must have used MVC framework), jQuery, AJAX, MySQL
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Some form of Social Networking development experience is a must
Education
Bachelors degree in IT related field a must, Maters preferred. Candidates who have appeared final year and are awaiting results, may also apply.
