Overview
We're looking for someone to lead our team of developers. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team that has built phenomenal web apps in an agile environment. You'll be responsible for seeing our product from its an concept through to completion.
You'll work at our offices in the heart of Manhattan. We offer a competitive base salary and a meaningful equity stake in a well-funded early stage company. Responsibilities
Make the major technology decisions for SeatGeek--develop framework and architecture for product development
In partnerships with founders, identify opportunities, trends and risks related to SeatGeek's product lines
Manage development team, track development progress, set milestones and goals
Manage growth of our data platform to ensure it operates efficiently and scales well, constantly pushing for optimal replication, storage, and speed to protect current data and to streamline our data gathering processes
Experience
Extensive experience with the LAMP stack
Experience managing a team of web developers
Skills
Comprehensives understanding of the technologies in our stack: Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, HTML/CSS
A good product sense and an understanding of the web 2.0 ecosystem
Expertise in MySQL data warehousing
Solid understanding of agile principles
Understanding of web standards and a pulse on web technology trends
Education
College grad
Compensation
Over $100k/yr, plus a meaningful equity stake and full benefits
