Overview
The Company:

We are a new-media marketing agency headquartered in New York City, specializing in mobile & social media strategy, design and development. We have the ability to take a project from initial ideation to full-scale application development.

We work with brands, agencies, publishers and entrepreneurs. We started the company in August and have experienced tremendous growth since then. We have global operations with a development office overseas.

The Role - VP, Business Development

As head of business development, you will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, closing and managing partnerships that will drive revenue and long-term growth for the company. To be successful in this role, you will need to have an understanding of trends in technology (social/mobile) and marketing/advertising, a passion for social and an extensive network in the agency world, brands directly and others who could potentially be partners.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities: 

Lead strategic discussions with potential clients/partners.
Develop and negotiate deals across a variety of companies/disciplines that align with our vision for services, solutions, product, technology and sales. 

Analyze, prioritize and acquire new clients/partners, identify new opportunities for growth as relevant within each partnership. 

Grow a business development team responsible for negotiating, developing and managing various partnerships. 

Track and report all pipeline activity.
Skills
Qualifications:

A natural born closer.
Ability to navigate across complex organizations and identify key stakeholders and decision makers.
Successful track record in complex deal structuring, negotiations and execution.
Self-Motivated
At ease overseeing major projects, often time-sensitive, balancing competing priorities, working independently.
Ability to manage and close multiple deals and processes.
Superb customer and partner focus.
Education
From college dropout to MBA, we want to hear from you.
Compensation
Compensation: This position is entrepreneurial by nature and the successful candidate will to work on high commission rates rather than a salary with low incentives. The commission rates given to this candidate will be amongst the highest in the industry.

This position is a major opportunity for the right candidate. We started up in August and have grown tremendously since then, the successful candidate will be called upon to be a leader and eventually build out there own team.
