Kyte is looking for an experienced and motivated Sr. Server Side software engineer to help us scale from millions to billions of requests per day. You’ll be joining a team of talented, fun and creative engineers who are comfortable learning new technologies and being on the cutting edge of online media.

Reporting to our Director of Server Engineering, you will responsible for writing code for our highly scalable application.
The position is full-time and you’ll be working out of our offices overlooking Union Square in San Francisco.
Actively participate in software design discussions.
Design and implement object-oriented, multithreaded systems.
Write code that is clean and elegant.
Implement automated integration and unit tests.
A passion to learn the latest technologie
10+ years experience writing high-performance, server software with Java.
Expert with object-oriented framework and design
In-depth knowledge of Unix, Linux, web servers, and application servers
Experience building highly scalable enterprise systems
Willingness to learn and to teach
