Overview
Lancope is looking for a Software Engineer to join StealthLabs Intelligence Research Team, which is the company’s primary team for developing cutting-edge network security technology. This role will be responsible for putting ideas into practice by developing proof-of-concept prototypes and then streamlining the transfer of proven technologies from R&D to product teams.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with researchers to design and develop proof-of-concept prototypes
Develop tools, production environments for research and to test ideas and prototypes.
Act as a bridge between research and product teams so proven innovations and technologies are brought to life.
Experience
Knowledge of networking concepts / protocols including, network management, and network monitoring techniques.
5+ years experience in software development
Proficient and current experience with C programming language
Experience working in UNIX-based OS.
Proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, Python, etc.
Technical competence (algorithms, data structures) and strong analytical and programming skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar engineering field required
