Overview
We are a new, successful startup based in the Flatiron neighborhood that specializes in technology and software that assist children with special needs. We are looking to hire one or two software development interns. Ideal candidates will be smart developers that have an ability to help write/maintain/test our existing code. Mentoring/learning will be a part of the experience, but the best developers learn at the very beginning to be self-reliant, which is what we are looking for.
Responsibilities
Coding to a tight specification
Not required to design modules or classes
Experience
0-1 year iOS development experience preferred
Skills
Good programming fundamentals (good working knowledge of OOP principals, design patterns, clean/reusable code)
Ability to figure out problems and find answers without significant direction
Self reliant
