Position Description
Axcient, the leading provider of data backup, business continuity and disaster recovery services to the SMB market is looking for a Senior Windows Systems Engineer to help develop the next generation of Axcient ground-breaking data protection services for Windows. Responsibilities
Design and develop the next generation of Axcient windows backup services.
· Work on projects such as: Exchange / MSSQL log flushing, VSS snapshot development, and a high performance remote differential engine.
· Design and develop the next generation of Axcient Physical-to-Virtual conversion processes for our innovative ServerAlive virtual failover technology.
· Debug and extend windows filter drivers.
Experience
Required Technology Skills:
Experience developing at the Windows systems level, (services etc)
Extensive C/C++ programming experience
Network Programming (socket communications)
Bonus Technology Skills:
Understanding of MS Exchange
Knowledge of debugging windows registry and driver load issues
Windows scripting
Skills

Education
5-10 years development engineering experience
BS in Computer Science or related degree of equivalent experience
