Overview
Exclaim is looking for an experienced software engineer in our Princeton, NJ office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer that has experience creating, manipulating and managing very large data sets and storage facilities. The candidate will be self-driven and able to perform their tasks with minimal guidance. Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering, the Software Engineer is crucial to developing new technology helping to implement our new UGC-Media cloud service.
Responsibilities
Able to bring new and current technologies to the team
Multitask several projects at once
Bring new and innovative thinking to the team
Experience
5+ years of experience in software engineering
Experience with “Big Data”
Experience with distributed computing environments
Experience in creating real-time systems is a plus
Skills
Proficient in Amazon S3 and Tomcat
Analytical Problem Solving
Commitment to excellence
The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
Supervisory experience a plus
Additional key requirements: Self-motivated, organized and good communication skills
Education
At least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
