Overview
Exclaim is looking for a senior level Software Developer in our Princeton, NJ office. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced software developer with excellent problem solving skills and is an expert in solutions and problem space. Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering, the Senior Software Developer is crucial to developing new technology helping to implement our new UGC-Media cloud service.
Responsibilities
Able to scrutinize code-level specifics while maintaining a high level of perspective on the solution
Bring new and innovative thinking to the team
Experience
10+ years of experience in software development
Several years of hands-on coding experience
Significant experience developing web applications
Leadership experience a plus
Commitment to excellence
The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Skills
Able to design and develop several systems from scratch
Experience with Ruby on Rails
Understanding of MVC, PHP and LAMP
Additional key requirements: Self-motivated, organized and good communication skills
Education
At least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
