Overview
Rhythmia Medical, a venture-backed company designing an innovative system to treat cardiac arrhythmias, is targeting one of the fastest growing fields in medical devices. The system includes state of the art signal processing, 3D imaging and catheter fabrication technologies. We are extremely selective in our hiring and employ a small team of super talented individuals whose aim is to have a major impact on developing a breakthrough life-saving technology.
The Senior Signal Processing Engineer is a high-impact position with a leading role in the design and development of novel signal processing algorithms and tools. We are looking for an exceptionally bright individual who has demonstrated outstanding performance in previous organizations.
Responsibilities
Developing and implementing novel signal processing algorithms applied to biological signals
Performing simulation analysis and performance characterization
Interacting with other engineering teams to ensure system-wide compatibility
Designing methods of displaying complex 3D information
Skills
BS degree or higher in EE from a leading institution
Strong foundation in signal processing
Minimum of 2 years experience in commercial algorithm development
Expertise in MATLAB and C++ is required.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a multi-disciplinary group environment
Track record of participating in the ‘big picture’ system-level architecture
Experience working with medical signals is a plus
Compensation
Commensurate with experience
