The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for deploying and configuring routers and switches, designing and maintaining network infrastructure, implementing network security policy and configuring a secure network. 24 hour on call rotation required.
The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for deploying and configuring routers and switches, designing and maintaining network infrastructure, implementing network security policy and configuring a secure network. 24 hour on call rotation required.
Responsibilities
Expert level experience managing large, high performance networks in 24/7 high-availability production environment
Strong knowledge of OSI network model and TCP/IP model and protocol suite
Strong knowledge of advance routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP and OSPF
Strong knowledge of Layer-2 protocols including link aggregation and spanning-tree protocols
Strong knowledge of firewall technologies including security configuration practices
Strong knowledge of VPN technologies
Strong knowledge of application load balancing technologies
Strong knowledge of WAN accelerating technologies
Strong knowledge with Cisco (IOS & CatOS) routers and switches
Strong knowledge of centralized authentication, authorization and identification systems such as TACACS+, radius and LDAP
Experience in working with telecommunication providers and registry organizations
Bachelors Degree (preferred) in CS, CIS, IT or equivalent
Experience
Linux system administration experience
Ability to script in bash, perl, python or php
Experience with rancid, cacti and nagios
Experience with subversion
Knowledge of A10 load balancers
CCNP ( or higher ) certification
