Overview
We’re an angel-funded start-up building a new and unique offering in the social space. We are seeking a talented and experienced engineer to take our concept from white-board to reality. Join our company at the ground floor and help create something huge.
Experience
You must have a passion for technology, experience building web-based and mobile applications, a can-do attitude, a keen business mind, and a willingness to devote yourself and your passions to building this business.
Skills
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
Minimum 3-5 years experience in website development.
Extensive experience building applications in a common web-development platform. (PHP, Ruby etc.)
Expertise with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript client-side scripting
Knowledge of XML, SOAP and AJAX
Experience with rapid prototyping and development schedules
Knowledge of current Web technologies (know the "cool" programmer trends that are floating around the internet)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills, and ability to collaborate
Quick thinker with an ability to think outside the box (using all programming resources possible to get something done)
Ability to work long hours
A sense of humor
Compensation
Salary commensurate with experience will be discussed along with equity in the company.
