Overview
Startup looking for a talented developer to work on a new “social media for social good” platform. (This is not a microdonation or crowdsourcing site.) It’s a fun new app that inspires social action and networking in a very fun way.
We are currently at the pre-funding stage and are seeking a technical partner who can build a working prototype.
This is an exciting venture, and we’re looking for the right technical person to partner with so we can make this a success for all. If you are willing to dive in and work for equity as we raise funding, then please apply!

Responsibilities
You must be able to DESIGN and BUILD a system architecture from the ground up.
You will be working with a tech saavy partner with several years in the interactive space (in both startups and large agencies) who will be helping define requirements, UI and visual design -- in addition to business development and raising capital.
Experience
Agile development experience
Self motivated, loves coding, loves solving problems
Startup attitude-- enjoy working hard and playing hard
UI and Interaction Design a plus
Experience in game theory/design a plus
An interest in social causes, volunteerism, and/or social philantropy
Skills
Must be experienced in web AND mobile development
Skilled in an object oriented application framework such as PHP, Java or RubyonRails
HTML, CSS
Linux / Apache / mySQL
iPhone: iOS / Objective C / Cocoa
Education
Undergraduate Degree
Compensation
Must be willing to work for equity, which is negotiable
