Campusdibs.com is a group-buying site that connects students to unbeatable local and national deals. Campus Dibs is a privately funded, fast-paced startup. We are currently seeking a motivated sales & marketing intern.

The Sales Associate is tasked with establishing partnerships and managing relationships with businesses and brands that resonate with our audience. Your role involves reaching out to retailers, restaurants, education companies, travel providers (and everyone in between), and negotiating unbeatable offers on behalf of Campus Dibs subscribers. This role requires initiative, experience, and a strong network, so candidates must be connected, innovative, and sales-minded. The ideal candidate knows and enjoys targeting campuses and students, and brings or is able to execute strong existing relationships with brand managers and marketing executives. Experience with online sales, advertising, and social media are beneficial but not a requirement. This is an opportunity with a fast-paced company with room for growth.
Responsibilities
Prospect, consult with, and close deals with major brands offering products and services that resonate with college students
Identify new and creative businesses & activities to be featured, expanding the range of offers for our subscribers
Present Campus Dibs as a unique alternative to non-targeted group-buying sites and traditional online marketing companies
Experience
BA/MBA
Online advertising sales to national clients
Strong personal/professional network and previous history closing and delivering deals with college-focused businesses
Comfortable working independently, setting measurable goals, and building out a workstream
Ability to source new leads at various types of local businesses
Proven track record
