We are an energetic, artist run startup in the heart of Willaismburg, Brookyln with a fresh approach to media distribution. Join our talented team and play a key role in redesigning the way culture is served
Responsibilities
Work with our business and creative leads to continue developing our web application.
Collaborate with the Product Team to refine specifications for new features.
Code new features
Squash bugs in the current codebase.
Agile collaboration with our Software Engineering and Design staff.
Experience
Equal parts coder & software architect; expert knowledge of Ruby, Rails 3 & Postgres. (all on Linux).
Familiar with Amazon S3; AWS Javascript.
Prior experience with Javascript platforms other than jQuery (i.e. backbone.js a plus).
Great at communicating ideas, & and understands the interplay between code and business goals.
Open to collaboration & cross-pollination with people across various creative disciplines.
Experience working closely with UX, design and development staff on an agile development team.
Experience / interest in developing new platforms for handling digital media.
Expert ability with API integration and development.
Understands best practices in modular design, scalability, portability, extensibility
The drive to innovate; to do it cleaner, smarter, better.
A love for music and wants to revolutionize the industry.
