Overview
BoutiqueAir is a rapidly growing, seed-funded stealth mode SF startup that is using large scale data analysis to revolutionize an inefficient segment of the travel industry. We are actively seeking a Researcher for a 2-3 month internship to lend insight into key challenges facing our business. This position is best suited for someone who is naturally curious, driven to find the "real story" behind a data trend, and able to communicate his/her findings effectively to others. You should also be comfortable with the fast pace of a start-up environment and working alongside a small group of young, smart, and ambitious peers. If you are interested in contributing novel ideas to a growing company, while adding a project with demonstrated impact/responsibility to your resume, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Examples of duties & responsibilities:
Conduct industry-specific data analyses and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
Ask questions, think critically and analyze new market opportunity.
Work with the product team to define requirements and improve efficiencies.
Experience
We are looking for someone with the following characteristics:
Excellent data collection and analysis skills.
Strong communicator.
Entrepreneurial spirit.
Can work independently.
Additional pluses:
Intermediate to advanced Excel experience and experience with other analytical tools.
Programming experience in one or more languages.
Education
College degree from a top university.
