Responsibilities
Translate product, brand and technology requirements into simple, elegant experiences
Lead design development throughout the entire product lifecycle, from brainstorming initial concepts to final pixel-perfect design solutions
Produce deliverables such as concept sketches, scenarios, storyboards, detailed visual mockups, design specifications, style guides and interactive prototypes
Give and solicit feedback from other designers to continually raise the bar on quality and ensure consistency across the end-to-end experience
Push the boundaries of what's possible to create better customer experiences
Translate customer insights and feedback into meaningful product improvements
Experience
Strong online portfolio demonstrating your creative approach to problem solving, attention to detail and deep understanding of user-centered design principles
3-5 years of experience designing consumer web or mobile products. Social product design experience a plus.
B.A. in graphic design, product design, HCI or related fields
Mastery of core web graphics tools and design principles, including information and interaction design, typography, color, and composition
Solid knowledge of current web, mobile and desktop technologies and trends
Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript preferred
Must be organized, able to act independently and adept at switching rapidly between different projects in a fast-paced environment
