Overview
Friends of Quinn is looking for an experienced and personable Online Organizer to help us take its online presence to the next level. You’ll work directly with Friends of Quinn founder Quinn Bradlee and a senior manager at Fission Strategy to help develop and implement a strategy to grow the audience and foster engagement on FriendsofQuinn.com and on social media platforms. A successful candidate will have impeccable communication and organizational skills, experience working with people with learning disabilities, and experience training people to become online organizers.
Responsibilities
Coordinating with a Senior Strategist at Fission Strategy to develop an execution strategy and project manage its implementation
Creating a work plan for Quinn, including breaking ideas and projects into tasks and timeline
Providing hands-on one to one supervision of Quinn, including coaching, and implementation support
Editing and creating content for the Friends of Quinn site and social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter
Experience
Must have experience writing and editing content for the web
Be completely at ease with technology including various web publishing platforms, basic HTML, and image manipulation
Have a thorough understand of what goes into developing and implementing outreach strategies across web and social media platform, including Twitter and Facebook
Have excellent organizational skills and the proven ability to create long and short term strategies
Have experience training people to be online organizers or use platforms on the web
Have a laid-back and patient personality, but also be disciplined and good at providing structure
Have an eye for detail, and the ability to effectively manage projects to completion
Have the ability to work with people in-person and remotely
Experience working with people with learning disabilities a plus
Compensation
