You will be responsible for adding to and optimizing the core social hooks for a revolutionary social travel service. The marketing innovator will be responsible for driving viral adoption of the product across Facebook, Twitter, email and other networks. You will grow and optimize our current processes by creating and prioritize new features and collaborate with design and the engineering teams to bring these flows to life. This role initially reports to the CEO.

We are currently a bootstrapped startup and therefore this is an equity only position initially. We have begun process of raising capital and expect to close funding soon. Our team consists of seasoned startup veterans with 9 startups under their belt and having raised over $50 million in venture capital.
Define strategy and roadmap for viral user acquisition and engagement
Develop, test and optimize viral channels to drive maximum user adoption and growth
Implement tactical marketing needs including maintain blog, twitter feed, Facebook fan page, and other social media marketing
Suggest new features to product that can deliver greater product virality
Define success metrics and track product and feature performance relative to goals
Leverage user feedback and usage data to extract insights into product requirements
Demonstrated success driving viral adoption of a social product in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
2+ years marketing experience, focusing on viral growth, in a social gaming company or other social application leveraging social APIs
Passion for the internet, mobile web and new technologies
Highly creative, out of the box thinker
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Highly organized with excellent analytical skills
Proactive and entrepreneurially oriented
