Are you a baron of bargains? A superstar of sales? Want to get paid for this talent?

With millions of customers already enjoying our travel deals we’re looking to expand into the local deals space. To do this we need YOU!

Who are you? You’re four people in one.

Tastemaker
You’re the one your friends always turn to to know what’s happening. You’re up on the latest places to go and things to do, the hot spots, the under the radar places, the city secrets no one will know about for another two months. You’re trendy and in-the know.

Salesman
You know who to sell, plain and simple. You know how to pound the pavement (literally and figuratively) to talk to small businesses (restaurants, bars, theaters, spas, salons, high end services) and get them excited about promoting a deal to our high end customer. On the flip side, you know how to pitch their deal in our emails and website to get our customers excited about it.

Relationship Builder
We deal with higher end goods. To this ends we’re not just shoving cheap cupcakes on our users but high ends goods and services. We’re not one and done but work to maintain a good relationship with the business and with our customers. you know how to build and foster that relationship over time.

Manager
It’s a big city with a lot of businesses and a lot of customers. Managing it all takes a certain level of organization and discipline. Every day you’ll be handling sales coming up, sales in progress, and sales that have closed.
Responsibilities
Sourcing deals
Signing up local businesses
Managing the relationship with the local business
Writing up the promotional content for the deal
Creating a process to oversee customer and merchant issues
Experience
You’re trendy and in-the-know about what’s hot in the city
You have experience with sales and/or account management (ideally both) in local services (hospitality, restaurants, spas, etc.)
You can negotiate hard--while maintaining a long term a relationship with the other party
You have a warm personality--you talk to strangers on the street
Extensive experience cold calling, both inside and outside sales
You stay on top of the details while juggling multiple projects
You are self-directed and will take the initiative
