Overview
Work Market launched four years ago and has blazed a path in the labor market, signing up hundreds of big companies to our platform and staffing thousands of freelance and contractors daily. Backed by the venture capital firms behind Foursquare and Twitter, Work Market is a new platform providing businesses with access to an on-demand, scalable work force and the tools to manage internal employees, vendors and contractors.
Responsibilities
Building and maintaining Work Market cloud infrastructure
Performing support tasks such as management of backups, user accounts, creating virtual servers, permissions etc.
Cooperating and collaborating with development, product, and client services
Experience
Experience in building Linux systems (we use Ubuntu)
Good understanding of Linux commands.
Ability to write basic scripts
Must have worked in a high-availability web application environment
Hands on management of Linux backups
Familiarity with version control software (we use Git)
Hands on basic management of core operational systems such as DNS and VPN
A solid understanding of web application architecture, including TCP/IP and HTTP
Familiarity with network security and vulnerability management
