Overview
Lead developer needed to work on software and product develop for a new start up in New York City. Looking for highly-skilled and talented software developer to create highly functional SaaS based business intelligence solution.
Responsibilities
Develop database and functionality
Clean up code and build applications according to specs
MUST create a product map (absolute must or do not apply), and be able to explain information as we go.
Experience
Perform a technical analysis of requirements
Produce a solid, detailed technical design
Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements with little or no supervision
Work with the QA and Customer Support teams to triage and fix bugs with rapid turnaround
Contribute ideas for making the application better and easier to use
Skills
Programming languages: PHP, HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript
A work style that is extremely detail oriented
Strong communication skills
Education
B.A. in Computer Science
Certifications in some programming languages
Certifications in some programming languages
Compensation
Compensation is negotiable but based on hourly needs per week. Must be available to work in headquarters two days per week (10-hrs per week) and telecommute as needed.
