Overview
We are looking for proven talent – pure and simple. We want a confident and capable
individual to lead a small but growing team poised to change the nature of online retail.
As such we are looking for someone with the following characteristics:
1) Strong desire to join an early startup
2) Top-notch technology development expertise with an emphasis on web design
and database architecture
3) Track record of successful implementations (professional experience preferred,
but not required -> skill level will be key determinant)
4) Passion for technology - particularly web, mobile web and consumer technology
5) Ability to design elegant and intuitive user interfaces
6) Interest in consumer retail services, namely for clothing and fashion
7) Demonstrated ability to lead a development team including managing other
professionals and handling all phases of development
8) Positive attitude that wants to have fun and change the world!

Responsibilities
Total website and database design and implementation responsibilities
Hire and form small and focused development team for rapid site iteration
Assist CEO with strategic decisions including both technology and business decisions
Help foster successful team mentality
Adhere to constant learning framework
Experience
Some experience preferred, however skill level will be key determinant
Skills
Strong OOP skills
Experience using MVC frameworks
Solid understanding of database concepts like transactions, foreign keys, data warehousing, etc.
Experience with SCM like Git, Subversion
Experience in setting up LAMP environments
Education
Bachelors preferred, but skill level will be key determinant
