The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for acquiring customers for Topsy Lab’s products and services. Specifically, this individual owns the sales cycle for leads generated via cold calling efforts along with leads produced from inbound inquiries. This quota-based role is responsible for lead generation and closing deals for Topsy’s world-class realtime social analytics offerings across multiple verticals.
Responsibilities
Outbound into organizations to qualify their fit for Topsy’s offerings, working the sales process to closure using phone and email based selling
Engage with prospects via inbound inquiries, qualifying interest, presenting remotely via online demos and closing deals
Build and manage a pipeline to achieve revenue quota objectives
Create and execute programs that increase awareness, generate interest and revenue for Topsy’s offerings
Nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure needs are being met, identifying new opportunities from satisfied customers so they can be further upsold
Report upon and be held accountable to projected outbound, pipeline and revenue metrics using SFDC
Skills
2+ years experience selling analytic services within the online marketing sector
Demonstrable cold calling skills that enable you to get in the door to articulate a service’s benefits
Track record of building trusting relationships & rapport with customers
Working knowledge of how data and metrics are used within online marketing, search and ecommerce ecosystems
Hands-on experience with SFDC
High integrity individual with a drive to succeed who is self-directed, thinks independently and works well within a tight team environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Bachelor's degree with a high GPA from top tier school & analytical mind
