Overview
Imaging Applications Software Engineer required for a start up that builds and support Open Source advanced microscopy image automation software.
Responsibilities
Independently work to develop well-designed software for the light microscopy imaging market
Project work initially, full time employment available subsequently
Experience
Experience in developing machine control software, ideally for microscopy equipment.
Skills
Proficiency in C++, Java and SWING and familiarity with Object Oriented design principles as well as an advanced understanding of fundamental computer science principles - familiarity with multiple platforms (Windows, Linux or Mac) is a plus
Education
Minimum of BS in Engineering with advanced software skills
PhD in Life Sciences with programming experience, preferred.

Compensation
