Overview
SalesGossip is looking for an awesome Graphic Designer Intern to help us give our new website a grand new facelift.
SalesGossip is an online digital marketing service that enables fashion retailers to communicate their promotions to targeted customers. As a shopper you can find out about any fashion sale going on in your city and online.
The service started being developed in London in 2011 and features promotions from over 700 Fashion shops and brands, representing over 10,000 stores. On an average day SalesGossip will feature over 250 different promotions generating traffic of 100s of 1000s of pages views per month. The service is growing fast and we are continuously looking to bring on board great new people to join our team.
This internship is a great opportunity for someone who is seeking to sharpen his/her skills within graphic design and photo editing to join our brand new Fashion Tech startup in Shoreditch. By the end of the internship you would have built a great portfolio to really show off your great capabilities

Responsibilities
Support our editor by selecting engaging editorial and stock photography from a variety of approved images sources, to create a compelling experience and entice new readers.
Spot and push images that will trend
Create banners and other visual material to support our marketing initiatives
Edit photos to fit within online and mobile app brand guideline.
Experience
You will have an excellent all round passion for anything that has to do with Fashion brands and retailers across areas such as key trends, general interest and celebrity gossip, able to communicate this through the use of images and demonstrate you are constantly tuned into what’s current
Photo-editing experience; emphasis in fashion journalism is preferred ability to source pictures that matches the right content
Any experience within a website, portal, fashion magazine or agency will be a big plus.
Skills
Interested and able to source good compelling photography for storytelling
Demonstrate a great eye for pictures and how to turn them into stories.
Proficiency in industry standard editing tools: Photoshop, asset management software and Windows applications
Good understanding of SEO
Very strong team player but with ability to work on own initiative
Ability to employ effective and creative problem-solving skills in a team environment
Compensation
