Overview
This is an 8 week contract position with flexible hours. The successful candidate will work remotely. This work may be extended for the right candidate.
There is potential for this contract to expand into other projects, such as our corporate web presence.

Responsibilities
Work with architect and design team to develop web application UI
Style and animate canvas treemap using data visualization framework (http://thejit.org/)
Implement UI functionality based on well-defined requirements
Experience
Experience building JavaScript apps with CSS3 and HTML5
Have worked with image sprites
jQuery animation (other JS animation libraries acceptable)
Familiarity with AJAX via REST with JSON
Have used Subversion
Skills
Experience with Canvas
Experience with data visualization framework like thejit.org
Slicing mockups with Photoshop
Experience preparing digital video for streaming through Flash or HTML5
Twitter API
