Overview
Lofty is looking for a strong Flash Developer to join our growing team.
Lofty is building an experience around 3D digital copies of real physical spaces. We have a novel type of 3D model and we have developed algorithms that help segment these 3D models into individual objects. We make these models accessible on the web through a Flash viewer with game-like interactions. We’re looking for an experienced Flash developer to build upon our initial work and meaningfully extend the functionality of the 3D viewer.
This is the first step towards a future that we believe will include virtual real estate tours, virtual (simple) architecture and virtual interior design.
We're a small, engineering-focused company looking to double the size of our team. We're venture-backed by some of the top seed funds in Silicon Valley & New York.

Experience
3+ years of solid software development experience
Skills
Technologies we use (experience in these will be valuable): Ruby, Rails, Python, Blender, ActionScript, Javascript, AWS, CouchDB, Meteor, Heroku, Git
Domain expertise in Flash Development: AS3, CPU/Memory optimization, Flash Builder, JavaScript/Flash bridging, Cross-browser compatibility
Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle
Strong analytical skills and ability to assist other team members in problem solving
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator
Education
B.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent expertise
Compensation
55,000-90,000
