Overview
The Director of Inside Sales is an integral part to the success of Topsy Labs. This position is for someone with a strong passion to create a structured, high performing inside sales team. We seek a strong leader with coaching and mentoring experience combined with the drive to make an impact in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities
Meet monthly and quarterly goals managing an inbound lead gen team (SDRs) and revenue based quota carrying inside sales team
Hire, motivate, coach and provide training to increase productivity and skill sets of employees
Direct day to day activities to ensure that all sales quota and management objectives are met
Evaluate SFDC data and other internal systems to improve productivity and performance
Optimize sales processes to drive maximum productivity and performance from our team
Nurture existing customer relationships and develop new opportunities via inbound and outbound campaigns
Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management teams for training, building campaigns and providing customer/prospect feedback
Experience
7+ years of sales experience with at least 3 years successful management experience
Recent experience from SaaS company with significant inbound leads from trial downloads
Proven multi-year track record of surpassing quota
Experience optimizing internal sales processes around leads and opportunities
Energetic, upbeat, tenacious individual that knows how to create and maintain winning team dynamics
Excellent listening, communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
Outstanding relationship building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity
Power salesforce.com user
BA or BS degree
