Overview
Are you looking to be part of a small, fast-growing, entrepreneurial company that is building something really cool and good for our society? We are an innovative, online start-up in the local government and private facility management space. Our offices are located in the Chelsea area in NYC and we're looking for a few great people to help build out our team!
Responsibilities
To continue development on our existing product line, which includes: online portal and backend software
To manage the launch of our website for citizens to submit service requests and access other critical city information.
Work can be done remotely, however we have mandatory meetings twice a week in our NYC offices.
Experience
Ability to build a complete, dynamic and robust website
Experience managing a small technology team
Several examples of taking an idea from concept to completion, web application preferred
Exceptional development portfolio
Skills
Experience programming mobile devices (iPhone, Android, BlackBerry)
Expert programming knowledge of HTML, XML, XHTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, AJAX
Experience with a variety of frameworks (Code Igniter, Drupal, Ruby)
Ability to create dynamic pages utilizing database integration.
Knowledge of web standards and browser compatibility issues
Education
Degree in CS/EE
Coursework in Web Site Development, Design, Engineering, etc preferable
Compensation
This is a compensated position, with healthcare and benefits. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
