Overview
The Heekya Corporation, a recently formed start-up, is looking for Chief Technology Officer (CTO)/Lead Developer interested in revolutionizing the way human beings interact and communicate. At Heekya, the goal is simple: tell the world’s stories. We are seeking a bright, talented and highly motivated individual who is interested in using his or her skills in website, technology, and platform design and development to build a successful corporation. Our CTO should be interested in challenging the status quo, questioning how things work, leveraging fun tools to solve frustrating problems and thinking big.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of Heekya and manage a team of developers.
Experience
Some web experience (scripting, widgets, browsers, web servers)
Extensive experience with LAMP stack
Experience in database design, SQL, and object relational mapping
Interest in start-up companies, and possible experience in their development
Experience working with API
Skills
Fluency in CSS, HTML, AJAX, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails and server technologies
Working knowledge of Internet protocols, networks, TCP/IP
Ability to learn new skills and apply them immediately to complete a task
Ability to manage a team of developers in a positive and efficient manner
Ability to develop an API
Education
Minimum college graduate
Major in computer science or IST (name depends on university)
