Overview
goHairCut.com, a seed-stage startup located in San Jose that transforms the hair service industry. With the goHairCut reservation platform, customer order a hair service through our mobile app and receive on-demand hair service at their home or office. As for the hair stylists, goHairCut will be the virtual receptionist, marketing tool and digital portfolio.
Responsibilities
The CTO will assume full responsibility over the design, maintenance and enhancement of goHairCut's reservation platform. He will lead a team of front and back-end, iOS, Android and Windows engineers to maintain system level operations and develop product upgrades. The CTO will work with the marketing team to prioritize and implementn enhancement according to customer experience.
The responsibility includes the training and recruitment of junior developers. Compensation and stock options will be competitive and based on experience.
Experience
The CTO should demonstrate
Object-oriented design and development skills
Self-starter in a rapidly changing, team environment
Solid foundation in Mobile App Development including popular platforms like iOS, Android, and/or Windows Mobile.
Understanding of PHP, Python, MySQL/SQLite, HTML 5, Java or C/C++
Skills
Pluses
Provisioning and managing Amazon Web Services (S3 & E2C)
Configure apache, ssl, virtual hosts, and memcached in your sleep
System administration experience
Experience in implementing front-end/back-end Mobile Apps
Cocoa Framework
JavaScript or Ruby development
Test driven developments
Experience in writing client/server applications
Database optimization
HTML, XML, LAMP, MVC, JQuery, Perl, WordPress, Microsoft SQL, SVN, CSS
