Business Development Manager / Regional Manager

Overview
YuMe seeks a Regional Manager to help support and expand its relationship with Microsoft. The ideal candidate is a Dale Carnegie at influencing people and a Steve Jobs at evangelizing technology – and has a strong desire to develop strategies that drive substantial new revenue opportunities.

The Regional Manager will reside in Seattle, WA and spend the majority of his/her time on-site interacting with Microsoft executives, managers, and engineers to address issues and opportunities with YuMe solutions.
Responsibilities
Nurture and concretely advance YuMe’s partnership with Microsoft
Identify and explore video advertising ideas relevant to Microsoft, and communicate them to YuMe’s executive team
Build a clear understanding of all key advertising-related media and technology organizations, and work with YuMe team members to develop broader YuMe awareness
Cultivate strong personal and professional relationships with Microsoft executive, management, and technical personnel
Help develop proposals for new business initiatives, and help structure and negotiate partnership agreements that drive new revenue
Experience
Desired Qualifications
Proven ability to command the trust and respect of Microsoft and software executives
Strong understanding of Microsoft organization – either via past/current employment at Microsoft or a similar partner management role
Deep Rolodex of Microsoft contacts across organizations and functions
Friendly, personable, approachable, and fun
Demonstrated leadership ability
Entrepreneurial and team oriented
MBA or advanced technical degree preferred
ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS
Experience in the technology or software industries
Consistent performance in the top 10% among your peers in sales performance
Ability to include a three page writing sample
Work Experience
7-10 years’ experience in customer facing roles in enterprise software, online advertising, and/or video
Proven ability to promote relationship growth vertically and horizontally within a fortune 500 organization
Responsibility for managing and developing multi-million dollar partnerships
Strong communication skills and excellent demonstrated business writing
Excellent time management and project management skills
Outstanding attention to detail
Technical Skills
Excel knowledge a must
Demonstrated skill (Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
