Stratopy, an emerging leader in creative and innovative mobile application software development, is accepting applications for an Account Executive responsible for the Houston region. This position will be accountable for selling custom mobile application development services (iPhone, Android, and Blackberry apps) to local business clients. You must be able to efficiently establish new relationships with local business owners and facilitate high level face to face meetings. This position will require closing multiple accounts on a weekly basis, and working in a fast-paced small team environment. You must possess a proven sales track record and have a strong ability to create a vision for your customer as to how custom application will positively impact their business. The Account Executive operates with general supervision within an assigned geographic territory.
Maintains and grows business within an assigned territory by developing an effective sales process and maintaining complete records of all accounts
Acts to meet/exceed customer expectations by sustaining regular contact and building superior relationships with key business decision-makers and influencers
Demonstrates competency in the company’s products and services by managing the entire sales process, presenting (oral and written) all aspects of the company products/services, maintaining working knowledge of existing marketing programs
Practices expense control by keeping within a defined budget and managing given resources
Competently communicates on a daily basis using all mediums available – phone-mail, e-mail, etc. in order to adequately report data on the industry, territory, market trends, promotion and competitive activity
Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university.
Three years of Sales experience, two or more years of outside sales experience is preferred.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations; ability to write reports, and business correspondence; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required when dealing with customers, fellow employees, and management
