To greatly simplify the Web 2.0 experience for users, replacing redundancy.

We (read I) have a model for a new type of social networking site designed to simplify the user experience, replacing a lot of redundancy on the web today.

Made up of the just the founder, who has successfully founded a technology company in the past and has worked in the venture capital arena, providing him with VC friends/contacts.

The founder started his career with a BS in Physics, worked as a C++ developer, in International Sales, then founded his previous company.

The founder is fun, friendly, informal and creative. Enjoys brainstorming sessions and understands how to work with developers and development groups since he was one. He envisions an egalitarian relationship with others at stuffiminto.com, rather than a top-down structure.

He believes that the development group will make or break the company, as well as lead the direction of the company in many ways.

This is a position where you would work from home. No daily commute. As the number of developers grow, we will need to formalize the development process a bit, but at this stage, it is very relaxed.

Professional coding and proper version control are mandatory, however.

I'd also expect to meet personally once a week if we have major items to discuss, or if there is a larger development team you are leading that needs to meet. Also, we will have to meet up for a number of brainstorming sessions in the beginning to nail down the requirements and technical specifications for the site.
