The nextstop.com Mission
nextstop.com was started by an international team of people who love to travel but were always frustrated when it came time to plan a trip. Whenever we knew someone who could give us personal recommendations, we always had a great trip. When we didn't, it was hard to know where to begin, and even harder to find unique activities and local gems.
We started nextstop.com so that everyone could benefit from the kind of authentic tips you'd get from a friend, without having to know someone everywhere you might want to go.

nextstop.com is for people who love exploring the world around them and sharing their favorite experiences with fellow travelers. Everything you'll find on nextstop.com has been recommended by another person eager to share that experience with you.
We make it easy to create a recommendation including a photo, address, map and description. In most cases, nextstop.com does all the work for you, so all you have to do is enter the name and location of the place you are recommending. Put a few recommendations together and you've built a guide that can be used as a starting point by future travelers.
When you're searching for places to go and things to see, nextstop.com helps you cut through the clutter to find things that you will love. Instead of reading long pages of reviews for every possible thing you could be doing, nextstop.com shows you short, concise recommendations, complete with pictures and maps.
The team behind nextstop.com has a track record of making easy-to-use software that helps people organize their lives and share their experiences with the world.
Our founders have been instrumental in the success of products like Google Calendar, Picasa, and Google Groups.
