SpecialNeedsWare is a mobile technology company dedicated to using modern technology to create therapy and learning solutions for individuals with special needs.

AutisMate was launched in 2012 and is available on the iPad app store. AutisMate is a novel scene-based iPad application that allows people with autism to become more independent by focusing on communication, behavior and social skill development. The app allows caregivers to create individualized easy-to-understand scenes using audio, video and images that come from a user's everyday environment. SpecialNeedsWare's recent successes have been recognized by TechCrunch, Mashable and Fox News.

Our founder, Jonathan Izak, graduated from University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Computer Science and is the the visionary behind AutisMate. Jonathan specialized in speech recognition research before he began developing AutisMate for children like his younger brother Oriel. Our co-founder, Ankit Agarwal also graduated fro the University of Pennsylvania with a systems engineering degree. Ankit worked in management and strategy consulting where he specialized working in life science and medical device industries.
