Signpost is a leading online advertising startup that connects local businesses with new customers. We’re creating a simple solution to help small merchants manage their advertising through a single convenient platform and drive new customers to their front door. At the same time, we’re making it easier for publishers to source ads and daily deals from local merchants.

Currently, we power monetization campaigns for over 1,200 local publishers including mobile apps, directory services, and daily deals sites. We believe we’re creating an efficient advertising tool that will significantly change the $20B local advertising industry.

Signpost is funded by Google Ventures, Spark Capital (Foursquare, Twitter, Tumblr) and a group of accomplished angel investors including Jason Calacanis (Mahalo, Launch Conference), Jack Herrick (eHow) and Thomas Lehrman (Gerson Lehrman).

We provide access to over 98 million local consumers on our network of 1,200+ national and local partners like Google, Amazon and Yellow Pages. Our extensive reach allows us to match campaign's to high quality customers.

The Signpost team is comprised of Alumni from MIT, Harvard Business School and Bain & Company.

Our founder and CEO is Stuart Wall. As CEO, Stuart oversees all aspects of strategy, operations and product development. Stuart launched Signpost in 2010 and has since led the company through initial funding from Google Ventures and Spark Capital to the large, growing business Signpost is today. Stuart writes a blog on the local advertising space for the Huffington Post, VentureBeat, Business Insider and CNBC.

Prior to Signpost, Stuart worked at Bain & Company, a leading global consulting firm, where he provided strategic advice to Fortune 500 companies and private equity firms. He graduated summa cum laude with honors from Miami University with a degree in Finance and a double minor in French and Entrepreneurship. Stuart received an MBA with distinction from the Harvard Business School.

Signpost is Headquartered in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City. Signpost also has offices in Austin, Texas and Denver, Colorado.
