The SetSee Mission
SetSee is in the business of improving the "information experience" and reducing information overload.
For our end-user customers, our mission is to enable them to cut through the clutter and zero in on what they are looking for. We do this with software that they can use in a simple & consistent way, across varied information "resources", to filter the displayed content and dynamically remove unneeded material.
For our commercial customers, our mission is to increase their ROI, by facilitating conversion & custom content or advertising, while improving the user experience of their own customers and site visitors. We do this by providing our core filtering capability for use on the publishers' web pages, enabling them to capture their users' intent as it is exposed through those users' engagement in filtering a page.
Our initial products leverage a core set of capabilities in order to serve two audiences, for browser-based content. Our consumer product is used by individuals, on any web page that they visit. Our commercial product is integrated by page publishers, for the benefit of all visitors to their pages. We envision follow-on products for various mobile platforms as well as non-Web content.
The SetSee founders are “information geeks” and good friends. Both of them love tools for finding and manipulating information and relish user experiences that delight customers. One comes from a varied software development background and the other from executive positions in product development, product management, and sales in the financial information services industry.
