The Selligy Mission
We hate (yes, hate!) half baked stuff. And, they are everywhere.
Selligy opened a simple bank account and we have received 18 form letters from them; many which appear to be written in the 70s. Almost everything we received went straight to the trash. What’s up with that? And, don’t get me started on our insurance company.
Enterprise applications. They suck! They are ugly, hard to use and everyone hates them. And yet, companies pay a lot to use them. Salesforce is $125/user/month! PER MONTH!
At Selligy, we are tackling complicated problems and solving them in unique, novel ways. We want the user’s experience to be easy & dare I say it, even fun.
We are building a mobile app for salespeople. One that makes them more productive and helps them build stronger relationships.
The company is started by two seasoned entrepreneurs who have a combined 30 years of startup experience in sales, product, marketing, and engineering.
Usman builds. He was the first employee at Electric Cloud and helped engineer their flagship product - ElectricAccelerator - which is pure rocket science. Usman isn’t afraid of technology and routinely contributes projects to the Maker Faire.
Nilay hustles. I’ve been involved in multiple startups selling to a diverse crowd of people - large & small enterprises, software companies, even consumers. (I’m an engineer by education - so I do a bit of work on that side too.)

Our office is fantastic. Tired? Make yourself espresso. with our freshly roasted beans, imported from the city. Hungry? I’ll make you a gourmet sandwich.
Everyone has a window office, we have fantastic shops and restaurants all around us and Caltrain is only 3 minutes away.
