LocalGrown is an online marketplace that provides farmers with easy-to-use, cost effective tools to market and sell their food directly to local consumers, restaurants, grocers, and manufacturers while allowing buyers to easily search for and purchase food in their area. Think EBAY plus Amazon.com plus Craigslist for local food systems.

LocalGrown is a different kind of company. As a B corporation, we are dedicated to a triple bottom line of people, the planet, and profits.  As a flat, democratic organization, each team member is not only encouraged but expected to speak their mind, voice their opinions, and present their ideas regarding the management, strategy and direction of the company. As a socially entrepreneurial company, we are very passionate about our mission and are dedicated to our mission of helping farmers promote, market, and sell their food to local buyers while providing transparency to consumers into how their food is grown, processed, and distributed. We believe we have a created a company that will not only be profitable but positively impact how food is farmed, the quality of food produced, the health of those people that consume that food, and the well-being of local economies across the country.
