Lifecrowd is a marketplace focused on social activities. Lifecrowd helps you meet new people offline and try cool activities locally.

Our major product is our site. It enables users to find, share, create, schedule & join fun activities like sushi rolling, card counting & wine tasting. We work on a variety of exciting features that involve data mining, behavioral analytics & personalization in addition to the typical Web 2.0 UI/UX.

Our team is based in Santa Monica, CA with experience in local commerce, online education, internet marketing, content, marketplaces and in scaling large internet platforms to execute. The team, investors and advisers have helped build pioneering web companies including Zynga, Zocdoc, MySpace, Videoegg (now SayMedia), Blackboard, Aggregate Knowledge, Lowermybills, and Yahoo.

We have an open office set-up that keeps us happy and able to work together easily. It's a very casual atmosphere filled with over-sized stuffed animals and random decorations. There's a TV & XBox in the lounge for those critical gaming or vegging breaks and a hammock in the nap room. There are a couple of extra offices for conferences and meetings and those times when you need some "alone time". Since we're based in Santa Monica, going outside is always nice and usually sunny in the mid-70s.
