To connect people to great coaches and mentors

We’re looking to change the landscape of the coaching and personal development industry by creating a marketplace for coaches and clients to meet and manage their coaching activity (kind of like Elance.com for coaching). Our target is primarily life coaches (career, executive, weight loss, etc.) and personal trainers, but we’re looking to expand to psychologists/therapists and business coaches in the midterm. Our platform will be free for both coaches and clients. A commission will be taken on every transaction. The coaching market has yet to be structured but coaches are easy to find. There’s no dominant player in the market and coaches are having a hard time to market themselves. There are more than 500,000 coaches in the U.S. alone. We’re looking to develop a minimum viable product (MVP) marketplace as soon as possible. Once it is done, we want to add features to the platform so it can become a real CRM tool. We’re two individuals with strong strategic skills and complementary backgrounds in accounting, finance, management, and marketing. We’ve worked for some start-ups in NYC and for Fortune 100 companies, and have a significant number of connections and leads into the coaching market and business world. We believe in being a catalyst of change and have a strong and irrepressible desire to make this world a better place. For the past months, we’ve focused our efforts heavily on early stage customer development. Our approach is lean, iterative, and user-centric with a splash of fun and topped with creativity.
