Aspera develops breakthrough software transfer technologies that solve the difficult problems in network data delivery. We aim to create and implement in software core transport technologies and products that enable individuals and companies throughout the world to move their digital data, regardless of size, over existing network infrastructure with maximum speed, predictable delivery times, extraordinary bandwidth control, and using low cost computing and network infrastructure.

Our products are a suite of standalone software products, a comprehensive software development kit (SDK) and web (and cloud-based) interfaces for transfer management and collaboration, all built on top of our core patented transport software. These products are generally recognized as the growing de facto industry-standard in digital media and entertainment, games, life sciences, and cloud computing for high-speed transfer of file-based data. The products are used to move terabytes of data per day, and petabytes per month, across our customer base and are considered "mission critical" by most of our customers.

At the center of our team is a diverse research, development and implementation team that innovates and implements the core transport technologies, middleware for transfer management, and application software that comprise our high-speed file transfer platform. Among this team are low level engineers with strong network, systems, and security backgrounds, research scientists with strong scientific background in network protocols and controls, and application engineers with a deep interest in modern web, mobile and desktop based user interfaces and application software. Supporting the engineering team is an experienced sales and business development team that has demonstrated consistent high growth in sales revenue and an experienced team of sales engineers and advanced technical support team helping to enable their success and constantly feedback recommended improvements in the products.
