Aidin's mission is to bring transparency to the healthcare system and empower patients with data to make more informed decisions on where they receive care. We're backed by the best institutional investors in both consumer internet and healthcare IT. Aidin was born out of Blueprint Health, a highly competitive healthcare IT accelerator. We currently reside in Dogpatch Labs, a fantastic office housing the best startup community in New York. Our team is dynamic with backgrounds in education, energy conservation and medical imaging systems.

Aidin is a web app used by hospitals to collect hard data about how well post-acute providers, like nursing homes and home health agencies, perform. We make it easy for hospitals to present quality information to patients exactly when they are choosing a nursing home or home aid – helping patients choose better providers for better outcomes.

By empowering patients with data to choose the provider best-suited to serve their individual health needs, Aidin enables hospitals to reduce readmissions by one third and length of stay by half a day. Aidin is a member of the inaugural class of Blueprint Health.

Russ has experience in strategy and operations in the healthcare, education, financial services and consumer products industries. Prior to Aidin, Russ founded and led an elementary charter school in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. While at Bain & Company in New York City, Russ advised Fortune 50 clients in manufacturing optimization product design and merger integration. Russ graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College.

Mike has experience in energy, management and business operations and a passion for solving big problems. Prior to launching Aidin he started WIGO, a spinoff from his research at Boston University that converts waste into hydrogen. The startup was a semi-finalist in MassChallenge and received $40K in funding from Autodesk. Mike has a bachelors degree from Holy Cross and a master's from Boston University. He is also a fellow of the Startup Leadership Program.

We work out of Dogpatch Labs in an amazing loft in Union Square. We are also surrounded with other great tech startups who are equally motivated an passionate about the industry. We are an agile and collaborative team focused on giving our engineers the tools they need to make an amazing product.
